Description

Vintage 1930s Waltham pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 27137162 dates it back to 1930. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover with a later inscription dated 1936.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the stem. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition, just a little rubbing towards the hinge, from sitting in a pocket, and a small "ding" to the outer edge of the back, nothing too detrimental at all.

The glass lens has a small nibble under the lens at 6 o'clock but overall it is in nice condition.

The signed white dial is in nice condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
