Description

Superb mid 19th.c. French marble top chest of drawers or commode c.1860. Highly figured grey marble top with rounded corners and a moulded edge over a chest of four long drawers. Particularly well figured burr walnut veneers arranged in a striking symmetrical pattern across the front of the chest. Shallow top drawer with shaped front continued on the sides. The three deeper drawers below with brass knobs and escutcheons and set within a moulded surround. Solid walnut sides and raised raised on a moulded plinth, veneered to match. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
