18th Century Oak Coffer

A charming 18th century oak coffer. The lid has the original wooden hinges with handmade nails. Opening to reveal a twin compartment interior. Raised on planked sides.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good, rustic antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear throughout including age-related wear, marks, and staining to top. Historical treated woodworm throughout. Remnants of newspaper covering the inside. Losses to both legs (pictured). Overall, a rustic piece of antique furniture.
