Antique Oak Panelled Coffer

An attractive antique oak panelled coffer. The hinged lid opens to reveal a spacious interior. To the front are four panels with diamond carved details. The sides are panelled and have iron triangle shaped handles. Raised on a block feet to the front and a plinth back.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good, well-used antique condition throughout with various signs of age. There is surface wear throughout including age-related wear and marks to the surface and front (pictured). A shrinkage gap to the side (pictured). Some small losses to the feet. Signs of historic treated woodworm to the back, feet, and underneath of coffer. Historic repair to the plank back (pictured).
