Large English Art Deco Sterling Silver Picture Frame - 1928

Description

A stunning English solid silver photograph frame with a most unusual shaped aperture and the silver beautifully decorated with a herringbone design engine turning of guilloche.

The back has a beautiful wooden construction with a folding easel stand.

The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1928 together with the maker's mark for C S Green & Co. Ltd.

Excellent condition measuring 11 1/8" x 8 1/2" x 3/4" with the glazed aperture measuring 9 1/2" x 7 5/8".
