Description

A lovely quality upholstered Mahogany armchair with a good provenance - signed in pencil "Lord Rothes, Leslie House, Fife with further details from an Edinburgh upholsterer. Having a buttoned back with sprung seat, raised on Mahogany turned tapering legs with original high quality brass cup castors. Retaining the original horse hair, with a tight strong sturdy frame and in need of a new top-coat. English, Circa 1860.
