Large 19th Century Pine Chest

A large 19th century pine chest. The hinged lid opens to reveal a spacious interior with a candle box sat above two small drawers, each with wooden knobs. To the sides are the original iron handles. At the base is a single large drawer with wooden knobs.

Height – 66.5cm / Width – 118cm / Depth – 58.5cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including evidence of historical woodworm that is long gone and has been treated as a precaution. Age-related shrinkage gap, wear, staining, and losses to the lid (pictured). Repair to the inside of chest top. Minor loss to inside of drawer top and just above the drawer itself. Of good construction.
