Description

A fine quality mahogany military campaign chest of drawers with a secretaire. An unusual drawer configuration with 4 small and three long, with central secretaire to the middle. Behind the slide, a further three maple veneered drawers above replaced tooled leather with a rosewood surround. It has oak drawer linings with fine dovetailed joints, has brass inset handles, all locks working, stands on turned removable feet and breaks down into two pieces, ideal for manoeuvres.

It has a wonderful rich colour and patina and is a decorative but incredibly practical piece of furniture.
