Four Similar 19th Century Welsh Oak Bar Back Farmhouse Chairs

An attractive set of four similar 19th century Welsh oak farmhouse chairs. Each has a style of bar back, with three of the four having decorative moulded detail. The hard oak plank seats are raised on straight front legs and curved rear legs with stretcher supports.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and wear with light staining to seats and backs (pictured). Three of the seats show historical shrinkage gaps (pictured). Particularly good repair to the inside of a front leg of one of the chairs (pictured). Evidence of historical treated woodworm to all chairs (mainly confined to seats and legs). Some losses to the feet of two of the chairs. Of solid construction.
