Four Similar 19th Century Stick Back Farmhouse Chairs

A matched set of four similar 19th century antique farmhouse chairs. Each with a variation on the stick back. The hard oak plank seats are raised on straight or slightly tapered front legs and shaped rear legs with straight supports.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related wear marks and staining to all chairs (pictured). Historical shrinkage to chair seats (pictured). Minor repairs to rear stretcher on two chairs. Excellent repair to rear leg of one chair (pictured). Minor losses to the backs of two chairs. Evidence of historical woodworm which has been treated as a precaution, mainly to the underside of the seats. Of good construction.
