Pair Arts and Crafts Maciver Orton Pots with Lids

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1910-1930 a pair of heavy and very well made brass and copper containers with decorative lids.

They are both in excellent condition and have the MacIver Orton mark on the base.

The big one measures 9cm in height and approximately 9.5cm in diameter and the small one is 7cm in height and 6.5cm in diameter.

They are solid copper and brass and the quality can be seen in photo 2 with the thickness of the lids. They have been professionally polished but not lacquered and weigh about 1kg together.
