Art Nouveau Brass Standard Lamp & Table C.1890

Description

Late 19th.c. Art Nouveau adjustable brass standard lamp c.1890. Adapted from an oil lamp with a single bulb on a telescopic brass column with the original leaf pattern brass reservoir holders. Height adjustable from 58" – 74" on a quality ratchet mechanism. Over a useful little table with an engraved brass middle and mahogany border with a serpentine moulded edge and shaped apron. On an elaborately cast brass Art Nouveau style legs in brass with pierced organic form stretchers. Excellent condition cleaned rewired and PAT tested.

Dimensions: height 58" – 74", width and depth at foot 14½".
