Antique Oak Glazed Bookcase

An eye-catching early 20th century oak glazed bookcase. To the top is intricate carved detail, under which are two glazed doors with wooden handles. These are above a turning mechanism which lock it. The doors open to reveal three adjustable shelves in an expansive interior. At the base there is panelling with scroll-like carvings. Raised on a plinth base.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including minor wear and marks to the top (pictured). Evidence of historic woodworm to the back, this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Both the glazed doors remain in good condition with no apparent breaks or cracks.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!
