Description

A splendid burr walnut chest on chest in the early Georgian style. Very well constructed in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. Of compact proportions and a faithful representation of the Georgian period. Splits into 2 sections for ease of installation. The top section with 3 short drawers sitting over 3 long, graduated, drawers. The bottom section with 3 long , graduated, drawers. The drawers are all fitted with their charming original solid brass hardware and the drawer fronts are cross banded. All standing on lovely out-swept ogee bracket feet. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
