Description

A beautiful little antique Qashqai rug, handwoven by the eponymous nomadic tribe circa 1900 with an allover geometrical design on an indigo field and great secondary colours, particularly the lime green in the detail. A lovely example of early 20th Century tribal weaving.
Size: 2.00m x 1.18m (6ft 7in x 3ft 10in)
This rug is in good condition with moderate age-related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
