Antique Mahogany Chest of Drawers

An appealing Victorian antique mahogany chest of drawers. It has an arrangement of five drawers (one large flanked by two short) over three large drawers. Each has attractive knobs. The plinth is raised on flat bun feet. Also, it has a maker’s marked stamped to the large upper drawer for ‘James Winter & Sons’. Moreover, we have included a small biographical note on their history for your interest.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear throughout. Lifetime of use has given a beautiful patina throughout. Drawers run smoothly and cleanly, with the top right-hand side one having a repair. (pictured). There is a small knot hole to the back (pictured).
