Cased George V Silver Thimble by Charles Horner, Chester 1911

1900 - 1920
Description

This delightful cased silver thimble was made in Chester 1911 by the collectable Charles Horner. The lower section of the thimble fully hallmarked and engraved with unusual designs. The Morocco leather case lined with velvet and satin.

Hallmarks:

CH for Charles Horner.

Lion Passant.

Chester Assay Mark.

Date letter "L" for 1911.

Size number.

Dimensions:

Height of the case: 4 cm

Height of the thimble: 2.5cm

Diameter: 1.8cm

Condition:

Very good.

Both silver thimble and case in very good condition.
