Victorian Cast Iron Stick Stand. 'Wallace'. Circa 1870

Description

Superb Scottish Victorian cast iron stick or umbrella stand with standing figure of Wallace dressed for battle with his claymore and targe. Has lift out drip tray. Original paintwork a little worn and chipped as would be expected. No breaks. Bears registration number and patern number to back. Probably made at Carron Ironworks. Falkirk. Just stunning quality and rare.

Size; 31" high. 18" wide, 9" deep
