Description

An unusual and rare 17th Century Italian walnut chest, the top having a hinged lift up top to reveal a spacious compartment, three drawers below with moulded edges and original brass knob handles and escutcheons, the drawers flanked either side with columns with carved figures, standing on carved claw feet. Superb walnut colour and in great condition. Circa 1680.
