18th Century Welsh Oak Dresser

An attractive and well-presented antique 18th century welsh oak dresser. The top is open back, with moulded cornice and two fitted shelves. The top sits on a large dresser base with panelled sides. It has an arrangement of six fitted drawers in a T-shape configuration, flanked by two cupboard doors. These open with the use of keys (provided). Each with brass backplate locks and the drawers having brass teardrop handles. Raised on block feet.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related surface wear and marks to surface and dresser top (pictured). Mild historic woodworm to the back, though this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. All drawers run smoothly, and the piece is of sturdy construction.
