Description

A fine late 19thc mahogany pedestal desk dating to c1890. This desk has an inset green gilt tooled leather (hide) desktop, in very good condition. Each pedestal has 3 drawers and the removable top carcass has a central wide drawer and 2 side drawers. The desk stands on original castors; the drawers all have original locks and handles. There is a key. The top detaches from the pedestals for easy transport.

The interior kneehole measures 68cm H x 52cm W (25inH x 20.5inw).
