Holmes Antiques has dated this Queen Anne Oak Gateleg Table to the 17th Century.
The pegs are untouched throughout, the original corner brackets are still in place to the underneath of the long rail under the top, this rail unusually has a gap between the top. This feature is documented on a remarkably similar table in the book English Country Furniture by David Knell.
