Artisan Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The case was imported and marked for London 1927, and the maker A.J.P (unfortunately we could not identify the maker's full name).

The exterior of the case is very lightly gilded with a slight yellow-gold hue.

The interior of the case is also fully gilt and presents a brighter and saturated gold tone in contrast to the exterior.
The case is hallmarked on the interior of the lid with clear full English import marks.

CONDITION
Great Condition - The case is in great vintage condition with no major damage (no chips or cracks in the enamel) or issues. For accuracy: there is one ever so minute ding to the base of the engine turned side as shown in the last image. Additionally, some darkened spots are present on the interior gilding. Please refer to the photographs to examine the condition in further detail.
