Description
Unusual English cut steel mounted rosewood sewing box, circa 1850 Silk lined, fitted tray with four carved mother of pearl thread winders. tape measure, waxer, pin cushion, scissors, bodkin, two stiletto and button hook. The rosewood box has an insignificant filled split to the veneer on the lid and the original polished surface is worn in places. The silk interior is worn in places a steel button missing from inside the lid. The silk tape measure is short, the silk tool holder is much worn. Overall the condition is very good and sound. 10" x 7,1/4" x 4" or 254mm x 183mm x 100mm weight 1260 grams. ************************************************** Shipping / Postage cost is not included in my prices.
