Wonderful Silver Tea Set & Tray.

1940 - 1960
Description

Magnificent four piece silver tea service and tray; in faithful Geo.IV style, this high quality suite is of super weight and manufacture. The service comprises of tea pot, hot water/coffee jug, lidded sugar bowl and a cream jug. Each piece is of circular lobed design standing on scroll bracket feet, the handles are of leaf pattern, the lids have floral finials, the borders are of also of floral pattern and the bodies have beautiful foliate embossed decoration with vacant cartouches. The fine rectangular two handled tray has an engraved foreground and a floral border. Made by highly regarded silversmiths who supplied fine goods to quality retailers, this is an absolute joy to behold.
