Large Silver Plate Meat Food Cover.

Description

This fabulous extra large silver plate meat cover which dates from c1890 is made by top silversmith Walker & Hall and is an extra large size making it perfect for covering a big roast or Christmas turkey.

Weight: 3.3 kg.

Marked: Maker's mark for Walker & Hall. Walker & Hall. Sheffield. 1137. Date letter for 1890/91.

Condition: Very good antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. A few light scratches, shallow dings, small marks and spots of tarnishing. Some all over light wear / spotting to silver plate.
