Description

1921 Elgin full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 23985678, which dates it back to 1921. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a few scratches and some marking where it has been opened in the past.

The watch measures 50.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition.

The signed dial is in nice condition. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
