Description

Two unusual matching fur clips which can be worn separately or joined together to wear as a fabulous brooch with the "duette" fitting. Dating from around the 1940s, with its sinuous curves it has a strong look of the work of iconic Danish silversmith Georg Jensen and the Scandinavian silver jewellers working mid-20th century.

Each clip is set with two shining faux pearls, which are very well matched with the silver, and have a beautifully glossy silvery shine.

The piece is manufactured in metal with a thick sterling silver overlay (a layer of sterling silver wrapped around the base interior).

The piece is in excellent vintage condition, with normal surface wear for its age, see photos. Good working clip hinges and brooch clasp.
