Scotissh Georgian Mahogany Longcase Clock Circa 1770

Description

Superb Scottish George III solid cuban mahogany cased longcase or grandfather clock with brass and silvered dial by John Law of Aberdeen. 8 day striking movement. The high quality case in fine un-touched original condition. Note the lovely carved cartouse to centre top of hood. The only damage slight crack to base panel. The movement has been overhauled and is in perfect working order. Comes with all keys.

Size; 87" high, 18" wide at hood, 9.5" deep.
