Two Large Antique Cartwheels

An intriguing pair of large wooden antique cartwheels. Both have a faded pink wash finish. Each has a replacement plywood outer banding instead of the original metal ones. Composed of six joined sections with wooden spokes.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and wear throughout. Rust patina to metal central bands and hubs (pictured). Evidence of old historic woodworm in both that is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Some historical shrinkage to the construction (pictured where significant). Replacement plywood banding instead of the original metal ones.
