Description

A wonderful example of a Victorian Sorrento Ware glove box, perfect for use as a desk-top piece or a jewellery / wrist watch box; or just enjoy as part of your collection.

Made from Olivewood, the slightly domed lid is beautifully inlaid with a typically Sorrentoware scene, beautifully executed and in tip top condition.

The interior has been professionally re-lined with a hand-marbled paper, perfectly in keeping, nice and clean and ready for use. The box comes complete with a working tasseled key.

Excellent all-round condition measuring 9 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" tall.
