Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
To the centre is a small inlaid cupboard door, flanked by pull out secret compartments. Under the fall front sit four graduating drawers, with the top drawer being flanked by pull-out arms to support the fall front. Each drawer has decorative brass handles and backplates, with the pull-out arms having small brass tabs. Raised on bracket feet. Also, there is a key, though it does not lock the fall front, it instead serves as a handle to open it with.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is fading and wear to the red baize writing surface (pictured). Some repairs to the cock beading and handles (pictured). Structurally solid and sound with all drawers running well. The handles are replacements.
