Description

An attractive antique oak clerk’s desk. The top is sloped, and lifts to reveal a neat storage space. This sits above an arrangement of two short over a single long drawer. Each with brass swan neck handles on Georgian style back plates. Under the drawers to the front is a shaped apron. Raised on square tapered legs.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition with some signs of age and wear throughout. There is surface wear in places, including some staining to the storage compartment (pictured). It is not complete with a working lock and key, as the lock is engaged, the slightly warped sloped lid will not close fully (pictured). The sloped section separates from the main body for ease of transport. The brass handles appear to be replacements, though all drawers run well. Structurally solid and sound.
