Mahogany Pad Top Bracket Clock by Langford of Southampton.The silvered, engraved dial features both Roman and Arabic numerals, with very fine blued steel hands, a strike/silent option within the break arch and a brass hand for the concentric date.The 8-day, twin fusee striking movement with anchor escapement strikes the hours to a single bell situated above the movement via a rack and snail striking system. The clock has substantial plates bound together by 5 knopped pillars with the back plate being nicely engraved around the boarder.
