Description

Very stylish French Art Deco sideboard c.1930. Original marble top (45?"x 19½") over three small drawers and two cupboards each fitted with a single adjustable shelf inside. Smart decorative front with oak veneers inlaid with ebonised stringing, small floral carved panels at the centre of the doors and retaining the original handles to the drawers and doors. Most striking are the unusual organic form segmented and tapering legs with pointed tops which stand proud of the corners of the cabinet front and rear. Sides are veneered and inlaid to match the front with small burr elm panels insted of the carvings. Solid oak drawer linings and shelves. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
