Wonderful Early 19th C French Gilt Console Table

Description

One of the finest pieces of furniture we have offered in over 30 years. An early 19th Century French Marble Top Console Table. Made from Carved Wood with Gesso then gilded. The detailing is crisp bold and incredibly well carved. It is serpentine fronted and the sides are shaped also. The thick heavy beautiful piece of marble is original and in excellent condition.

This is an important table of generous proportions and in excellent original condition.
