Military Campaign Chest of Drawers

Description

A 19th century oak military campaign brass bound chest of drawers inscribed in pencil under a middle drawer 29th DECEMBER 1860. The drawers are finely dove tailed and lined in chestnut.

The locks are by Hobbs and Co with one replacement for bottom drawer but all operate on the same key. The turned oak bun feet unscrew for transit. A lovely original chest in great condition and rare being in oak.
