The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a Swiss FHF hand-winding movement, signed Rolls, which is working nicely.
The case is 9 carat rose gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1951 with a sponsor’s mark for City Watch Case Co Ltd (Louis Arnould).

The case is in good condition, just one small indentation to the back.
The back of the watch has a 1952 inscription.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is signed Rolls, a brand name registered by Ebel in 1927. It is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There is some light freckling across the dial and a little age related discolouration.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
