A Rare Silver and Agate Novelty Shoe Pin Cushion

Description

A charming and very rare collector's item. This is a fine silver pin cushion in the form of a ladies' shoe. The shoe has a shaped heel to the base and is engraved with detailed patterns. The foot is embellished with a bow and set with agate panels. The original pin cushion pad is intact. The body has been hallmarked, but a part mark and the Sterling lion are all that is now visible. An interesting and unusual collector's item. Dimensions below.
