Victorian Walnut Worktable Circa 1875. Sewing. Side Table.

Description

Circa 1875, this Victorian inlaid burr walnut worktable is in excellent condition and everything is as it should be, including the original porcelain casters.

The finely figured walnut top opens to a compartment interior, with a lift out lid, giving access to the bag which unusually is further figured walnut, rather than the cheaper cloth type bag.

A nice example of this ‘Height of Victorian fashion’ worktable.
