A Stunning Pair of Neo Classical Silver Plated Candlestands C1880

Description

A stunning pair of silver plated candlestands in the Neo Classical Style. Marked for the maker Horace Woodward (1876-1893). Beautifully crafted with each one flanked by 3 removable winged seahorses (hypocampus).

In wonderful condition with only slight signs of age related wear. An additional couple of modern nuts added to bases.

Total Weight approx 1.1kg

Height approx 13cm. Span approx 15cm.

Diameter of top approx 9.5cm. Diameter of candle space approx 6cm.
