Antique Art Nouveau Inlaid Mahogany Triple Wardrobe Compactum C1890

AntiqueArt Nouveau Inlaid Mahogany Triple Wardrobe and dating from around c1890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a removable and shaped pediment top with flamed mahogany panel to the centre with crossbanded satinwood inlay. It has a cornice top with deep crossbanded frieze with satinwood inlay. To the centre are two panelled doors with inlaid crossbanded edges and brass handle and with internal shelf. This is above a shaped frieze with mirror backed open compartment and over two small drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with satinwood crossbanded edges and original brass handles. To either side there is a full length bevelled mirrored door above a small panel with wide crossbanded edge of satinwood and both with original brass handles. Internally and to one side there is a single shelf above a hanging rail and to the other side it is all hanging with a shoe box to the base. The whole being raised on a plinth base on bracket feet and separates for ease of transporting.
