Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The lamp measures 27cm in height and still has the original turned wooden handle. All the parts open and everything is in good condition. We haven't made any attempt to clean it as some customers prefer us to leave well alone.
The brass label on the back reads: Reg No: 878136
Formerly 686127
With the words FILL TO - a line and then THIS MARK.
On the front of the lamp are the initials BR (Sc) and this can be shown clearly in photo 4.
There are no signs of damage or repair anywhere.
