Antique Georgian Mahogany Low Boy Side Table

18th century
Description

A smart and useful antique George III period lowboy in mahogany. This dates from around the 1790’s period.

It is of extremely fine quality, made from solid mahogany and is a useful size. There are lovely original brass handles, tapered legs with spade feet, and fine dovetailed joints in the drawers. The top is cross banded in another wood that looks like satinwood & it has a reeded edge.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in great condition for its age with plenty of patina and charm.

Depth – 20 inches , 50 cm

Height – 33 inches , 84 cm
