Antique French Style Kidney Shaped Desk

1920 - 1940
Description

A stunning antique French style kidney shaped desk, dating from around the 1930’s period.

It is of fabulous quality, with a mahogany construction and contrasting veneers of mahogany, Kingwood and satin wood. There are fine gilt bronze mounts throughout and this has a beautiful pierced brass gallery around the top. The inset green leather top has gold tooled edges, and a couple of areas of pitting to the leather, seen in the images.

We have recently had this French polished, it is in great condition for its age.

Depth – 25 inches , 64 cm

Height – 30 inches , 76 cm

Knee height – 23 inches , 59 cm
