Description

Neat little Regency mahogany chiffonier side cabinet c.1820. Just 40" wide, two door cabinet with mirror glass door panels, fitted inside with two shelves (internal depth 10"). Well figured mahogany veneered top with a crossbanded border and rope twist carved edge. The twist detail is repeated as a slimmer moulding above and below the doors and in the faux columns to each side, with turned terminals and topped with carved flower motifs. Raised on the original feet, carved as lion’s paws at the front and turned at the rear. Some old wear to the top and to the finish on the sides. Otherwise good condition and good mellow colour. Fitted with new mirrors, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
