Finely cast pair of early C19th Regency period bronze candlesticks of classical Athenienne form .
Well drawn pair of patinated cast bronze candlesticks of classical design . The triform bases with well-defined cast motif detail, supporting elegant triple shaped monopodia uprights with lion’s paw feet and scrolled leaf details .
The candle-nozzle tops with cast stiff-leaf classical decoration and integral bobeches. The underside of the candle-holders with hanging berry or grape inverted finials.
In excellent original condition with a wonderful mellow ‘golden’ consistent colour and patination.
