Magnificent Large English Walnut Jewelry Box with Glass Doors C.1880

Description

A stunning example of a Victorian jewellery cabinet made from beautifully figured Walnut with outstanding polished brass fittings.

This is a particularly large example having a fitted tray under the domed lid and three silk lined drawers beneath, perfect for storing those precious jewels.

The top has a highly decorative brass mount, with a vacant cartouche in the the centre, which could be engraved by your local engraver if desired.

The front doors are both glazed with thick bevelled glass in a gothic design.

A wonderful example in excellent condition and complete with working key. 11" x 8" x 10" tall.
