A Fine Heavy Silver Plated Wine Cooler

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine silver plated champagne / wine bucket. In the classical Georgian style, although this example dates to c1900. With removable lid and intergrated liner. Beautiful lines with lion mask handles. Plated on copper for added quality and weight.

The condition is overall good with no dents. There is minor copper bleed and slight patches of discoloration but nothing serious. Some wear to the base. Makers mark is rubbed.

A very useable piece.

Weight approx 2.3kg.

Height approx 28cm.

Diameter at rim approx 21cm.

Base diameter approx 15cm.
