This charming face of what was once a storage-bag, has a beautiful golden-yellow field comprising stylised 'botehs' - the prototype of the Kashmiri shawl and Paisley patterns.

In very good overall condition bar a few tiny repairs, this bag-face was made at the end of the 19th century by Afshar nomads in southern Persia.

Size: 56cm x 43cm (1' 10" x 1' 5").
